PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc is part of a large Group of multinational companies that is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of household goods. Our company brands are household names and leaders in various segments of the market.
We are currently recruiting for the Position of:

Job Title 1: Shift Manager
Location: HPZ – All States

The Role
o Lead the shift to achieve operational excellence in the key performance indicators(OEE, LTAs, Conversion cost, Quality defect, Absenteeism)
o Drive improvements in the shift through effective leadership of the team thereby creating a conducive atmosphere for innovation.
o Ensure that packing hall operates according to world class standards-safety training ,TPM, Housekeeping, Shift changeovers, Plant utilization, etc.
o Train his team members whenever necessary and ensuring effective skill development through out the shift.
o Ensure Proper documentation of all key KPIs including training records.
o Ensure that necessary templates for monitoring plant output and other performance criteria are updating regularly by the team.
o Check all aspects of wastages and losses which impact negatively on departmental overheads and offering corrective actions to mitigate these.
o Champion Margin improvement activities in the department.
o Lead by example and showing the way in the use of PPEs resumption times, behaviour under stressful conditions, weekend attendance, compliance with the Organisations procedures, etc.
o Provide regular update of Short Interval Control(SIC) log sheet and enforce corrective actions to address issues arising from packing hall operation on a timely basis.
o Ensure full observation of all MPL processes in the packing hall and encouraging the direct reports to do same.
o Ensure full availability of all packing machines at all times to ensure optimum production rates in packing hall are sustained.

The Person
The Right candidate must
o Have a minimum qualification: BSc (Chemical engineering, Mechanical Eng, Materials Eng), or any other relevant Engineering or Management Discipline.
o Must be good on Microsoft Office – Excel & Word
o Have a strong communication skills.
o Be very good in handling numbers/figures.
o Have the ability to spot improvement opportunities fast.
o Have good time management skills.
o Have good interpersonal, leadership and technical Skills

Job Title 2: Area Sales Manager
The successful candidates will be required to:
o Consistently meet or exceed agreed business development targets.
o Have detailed knowledge and experience in the distribution of FMCG products.
o Develop the annual area sales plan.
o Motivate, train and develop the local sales teams.
o Manage and drive customers/partners towards profitable growth.
o Identify and develop new and incremental sales business opportunities.

The Person
The right candidates must:
o Have good knowledge in distribution & customer development in the sector of FMCG.
o Possess a good university degree in any discipline.
o Possess first class numeric and communication skills.
o Have excellent customer relation skills.
o Possess three to five (3–5) years successful selling experience at sales management level.
o Possess high levels of determination and desire to succeed in a result oriented environment.
o Be a good team player but with the ability to drive the team to unsurpassed success
o Be mobile and willing to be flexible in terms of location.

Job Title: Safety, Health & Environment Manager – All States
The successful candidate will be required to:
o Create safety awareness actions on site and enforce safety measures and guidelines.
o Conduct safety inductions for new employees, attachés, youth corps members and contractors on site.
o Perform risk assessment and ensure that permit to work system is enforced.
o Engage in daily routine safety inspections of the site.
o Ensure that all activities are carried out in such a manner that minimizes the risks to employees, contractors, property and equipment.
o Provide site risk management audits of the site and enforcement/implementation of the reports.
o Manage team and individual performance through regular reviews, monitoring objectives and ensuring development needs are identified.
o Conduct toolbox talks, counselling, coaching and training of the workforce in various risk management activities.
o Investigate all accidents, near-misses, fire outbreaks and write reports.
o Undertake accident/incident investigations as the needs arise and implement remedial/preventive actions against re-occurrence of such (accident/incident)
o Engage in fire drills.
o Produce monthly risk management reports and statistics including Frequency Rate (FR) and Severity rate (SR).
o Enforce strict compliance with the Risk Management Manual
o Contribute to the update of the procedures and guidelines in the risk management manual as needed from time to time.

The Person:
The Right candidate must
o Possess B.Sc. Mech. Engineering
o Be a Computer expertise in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint, especially ISO 9000
o Have 3 – 5 years minimum work experience
o Have excellent oral and written communication skills

Job Title: Schedule Interface Engineer
Reference Code: PFL/SIENGR/10213/0008

Job Description
o Consolidating, control and coordinating all the planning related to Interfaces and interface deliverables associated to all project contracts.
o Ensuring that all package activities related to interfaces are correctly planned and performed throughout the whole project duration in accordance with the initial plan.
o Focusing on the package schedule and identification at all times any area of concern related to interfaces (critical path, clashes, early start).
o Ensuring availability at all times of updated and accurate package interface scheduling, planning and progress reporting documentation.
o Handle interface reporting from packages to the central organization of EGINA.
o Elaborate, update and revise the interface schedules and interface deliverables registers.
o Elaborate and revise the package planning addressing interfaces progress measurement procedures and documents.
o Follow closely the activities and interrogate the contractor planning engineer(s) on the interface subjects.
o Monitor closely the contractor’s execution schedule and progress reports on all subjects affecting interfaces.
o Feedback to contractor on the areas of concern and active contribution to eventual recovery planning activities.
o Check and comment on the contractor’s procedures, schedules and methodology for interface deliverables.
o Provide assistance to the Interface & MOC Manager and Package Interface Leaders for all matters related to the interface planning & progress reporting as well as analyses and simulations of new schedules with impact on interface deliverables.
o Participate in reviews and technical audits on planning & progress activities, addressing interfaces among packages.
o Provide detailed and accurate interface monthly progress reporting to be incorporated into the monthly project report.
o Prepare weekly and monthly interface package reports and handle their distribution.
o Assist Planning Leader for integration of Interface Deliverables schedule into overall project integrated schedule
o Support the Freight Forward contractor Leader in planning duly in advance the collection, shipping, custom clearance and delivery of Company items to the receiving contractor.

HSE
o To fully comply with office security, health and safety instructions.
o To stay vigilant and maintain continuous awareness of hazards and surroundings.
o To report to Management on any issue they may face or observe and propose way of improvement.
o To also take care of colleagues safety and behaviour without hesitating to intervene as much as necessary.
o To give his own input and making sure the workplace is safe (obviously clean and tidy).
o In doubt to ask questions to gain clarification.
o To fully comply with Security rules about Travelling in Nigeria.
