Kogi State has banned female teachers in the primary & secondary schools from wearing trousers to school hours.

The Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Grace Elebiyo during a press interview on Wednesday warned that any female teacher caught violating the order will face the disciplinary action taken out against them by the Kogi State Government.

Mrs. Grace Elebiyo said that this new order came to reality, after some female primary & secondary school teachers in Kogi state were caught violating their professional code of dressing.

She asserted that Kogi State Ministry of Education would no longer tolerate indecent dressing to schools.

The commissioner added that government would soon commence on the rehabilitation and upgrading of facilities in primary and secondary schools in the state.
