Gombe State Governor’s Convoy Kills One

Another Nigerian governor has been linked to a road accident. The convoy of Mr. Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, governor of Gombe State, was on Wednesday night involved in a fatal accident that killed one and left six other people injured.
Witnesses at the scene of the incident reported that a speeding pickup van caused the accident when it lost control and rammed into a police van and a Peugeot 406 sedan in Dankwambo’s convoy.
The governor’s car was not involved in the crash.
